CABLING
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Unet has the expertise and experience to provide the telecommunication’s
infrastructure for any facility. Unet
has cabled a wide variety of facilities that would be considered
hostile environments for telecommunication construction.
Our relationship with Tarrant County
has provided us with challenges including the old courthouse
building, which is a registered historical site (precluding cores,
drilling, and normal installation practices). We have just completed
a 400-drop installation in the community supervision correction
department facility on Belknap in Fort Worth, which was constructed
as a jail when it was built. The innovative pre-engineering, on site
ability to adapt to the building’s limitations, and the dedication
of our technicians to go where no one has gone before, earned praise
from all concerned. We
are currently cabling Tarrant County’s cold springs minimum
security building in north Fort Worth, and cabled their new boot
camp facility in mid 2000. Additional projects for Tarrant County
have included the justice center, the old jail, the new jail,
various holding facilities, courthouses/sub courthouses and every
hell holes that this municipality can throw at us.
Roadway express counts on us to cable
their dock/warehouses and shipping facilities nation wide. The
difficulty level for these projects would be considered very high as
generally these facilities are large complexes that are open for
business and are high traffic areas for personnel and machines.
Unet has completed numerous projects for EDS in the last several years and
continues to perform in that restricted environment. Our company has
been working for Texas instruments and other contractors on TI’s
campus for over a year on various fiber and copper projects. |
