INTRODUCTION
Universal Network Systems, Inc. (Unet)
was established in 1989 as a Texas Corporation whose mission was to
provide for the installation of voice and data cabling. Unet
is a value added custom cable manufacturer and specializing in the
manufacturing of Coax/Twisted Pair/Fiber Optic cable assemblies.
Unet has expanded the scope of its services to include installation and
maintenance of selected telecommunications systems, structured
cabling installation projects and the provision of certified
technicians to other contractors and sub-contractors. Unet
has been aggressive in training and certifying our technicians to
meet the exacting standards of our industry. Currently, Unet
is an ORTRONICS CERTIFIED PLUS installer, VALCOM, and BOGEN internal
paging system installer, and our technicians are certified by LUCENT
TECHNOLOGIES for their SYSTIMAX implementation of Power Sum and
Gigaspeed Cabling Systems. The expansion of these services and our
training program has enabled our clients to rely upon Unet
for turnkey solutions for voice as well as data infrastructures,
providing quality and prompt service for all telecommunications
platforms.
Unet and its affiliates are certified by the North Central Texas Regional
Certification Agency as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
(Certification # PMSD7699N0600). The State of Texas General Services
Commission has certified Unet
as a Minority/Woman-Owned Business (Certification #17522629884). Unet
may be one of the only telecommunication installation and service
contractors that are currently involved in the process of ISO 9002
certification. This commitment to the rigorous quality control and
process documentation program is just part of our philosophy of
overall quality in all the things that we do.
Unet will continue to update and improve our services and products to meet
the expanded challenges that our industry requires. This includes
providing the best cable assemblies and trained technicians who have
expertise in all of the installation services and disciplines in
which we compete.
Our goal is to lead, not follow technology into the
twenty-first century. |
